I resonate with this comment from Karam Elahian, especially the point about humor:
A startup is not picnic. Any time you go to b-school, you see those beautiful hockey sticks...all of that is nonsense.
Life in a startup is full of ups and downs; if you accept that at the beginning, you manage everything based on that.
Make sure always to bring a lot of people with a fantastic sense of humor.
